Mr. Ralph Cadwallader

Ralph Cadwallader is a native of Massachusetts and grew up just outside of Boston in the town of Watertown. After graduating from Boston College, he was recruited to come to Las Vegas to teach. He taught 9th grade English at Garside Junior High School.


He earned his master’s degree at Northern Arizona University and shortly thereafter became a school administrator. He was Dean of Students at Garside and was Assistant Principal at both Western High School and Basic High School. He later became Principal of Western High School.


For fourteen years he served as Associate Superintendent of the Clark County School District. Later, he served as Associate Superintendent in Tempe, Arizona followed by being Executive Director of the Nevada Association of School Administrators. His career in education spanned forty-eight years.


Mr. Cadwallader has been heavily involved in community service. He served on the following boards of directors: Las Vegas Southwest Rotary Club; Boulder Dam Area Council of the Boy Scouts; Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association; Odyssey Charter School; Spirit Therapies Equine Group; and, while in Arizona, YMCA.


He is a card carrying member of the Red Sox Nation.
